Mr Monkey at the Bristol Industrial Museum

"There's a steam engine in there somewhere"

Mr Monkey left the museum to look at the last exhibit, the 1878 Fairbairn steam crane, built by Sothert & Pitt. This one of the very few Scheduled Ancient Monuments in Britain designed to lift 35 tons. It's in working order, and you can go inside it if you go on the right day, which Mr Monkey didn't.
