Mr Monkey was interested in the section of the museum that told him all about transport in the Newcastle area. He admired the replica figurehead, looked at maps and models, and was particularly interested in the tiled map of the North Eastern railway. This used to be part of a station, and is the only one in the country removed in one piece.
