After the mayor had left the stage, Jasper Fforde gave an exclusive reading from the next Next book, which mostly hasn't been written yet. Now Mr Monkey has another book to look forward to. The reading was followed by a game of Name That Fruit, a very popular TV gameshow which involves a slighty wonky wheel of fruit to select a category, general knowledge questions with fruit in the answer, blindfold fruit tasting, and a game of noughts and crosses, all under the control of the cheesy Mr Adrian Lush and his glamourous assistant Jo.
