On the upper deck, Mr Monkey looked down onto the main deck of the icebreaker, which seemed to have rather a lot of lifeboats. Then he went onto the bridge and found out that nothing happened when he turmed the wheel. Until 1958 the bridge was open, and the crew had to stand out in the cold.
