Mr Monkey tours Stockholm harbour

"They do say it's the largest Viking ship in the world"

The boat passed ferries moored along Skeppsbron, and stopped to let people off and on at a small quay in front of the Kungliga Slottet, the Royal Palace. This was finished in 1754, on the site of the Three Crowns Castle, which burned down when Karl XII became king. Mr Monkey was intrigued by the Viking longship, which was converted from a ferry which had originally been a Britsh minesweeper.

You can read about the Viking ship at the Svea Viking website.
