Mr Monkey visits the Skansen

"It's not a bad little place for a summer retreat"

Opposite the printers, Mr Monkey saw a large yellow stone building, which is the main part of a house built for Charles Tottie, one of the richest merchants in Stockholm, in the early 1770s. There was originally more to it, but they didn't rebuild the wings and outhouses. Further along, Mr Monkey came to a late 17th century building from the Jakobsberg. This is the sort of house that aristocrats built as summer residences on the outskirts of Stockholm.
