The Vasamuseet is in a park on one end of Djurgården island. As he walked through it, Mr Monkey was surprised to see that the park was fully of small girls with odd coloured socks, horizontal braided hair, and bright red freckles. Apparently it was the 60th anniversary of Pippi Longstocking (or Pippi Långstrump), and every little girl in Stockholm had turned up for a party outside the Junibacken, the Astrid Lindgren museum. Mr Monkey dodged them and scampered into the building housing the Vasa.
