Mr Monkey trotted down the street to Gustav Adolfs Torg, the main square of Gothenburg. He looked at the Rådhus, which, from its name should be the town hall, but has actually been the law courts since 1672. From the top of the steps in front of the Rådhus, Mr Monkey surveyed the square, and wondered if the black and white patterns in the paving were significant.
