Mr Monkey's route is drawn in orange on the map that comes as part of the 2005 guide. He started at the railway station, went out to the police station, came down through the old town on the left of the town centre, turned back at the marina, and followed a slightly wavering route into the centre. The orange 8 is from the older route, which was apparently thought up when Mankell hadn't written so many books (or had them translated). Site 17 was skipped because it was a very long way to see a cash dispenser that wasn't there anymore. Sites 21 to 32 were skipped because they're all at least a mile out of town, and one is a totally ficticious village.
