Mr Monkey visits the Hoegaarden Urban Oasis

"Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves"

The Urban Oasis is a temporary thing, erected to a design by the mysterious-sounding Office for Subversive Architecture in the ruins of a recently demolished building. It's only here until August 10th, when the owners want to do something else with the space*. Mr Monkey thought it was a shame that it was only going to be there for such a short time, but he did see there'd be problems in the rainy season. When his humans were fully unstressed, Mr Monkey waved to the DJ, Neil Diablo, and left the Oasis.

You can read about the designers at the Office for Subversive Architecture website.

* Mr Monkey suspects it'll involve knocking down neighbouring buildings, which might make the Oasis less peaceful.
