Over the weekend, Mr Monkey went to lots of panels and heard lots of authors talking about different aspects of their work. He saw, among others, Mark Billingham, Alexander McCall Smith, John Sandford, Cath Staincliffe, Michael Connelly, Frances Fyfield, Kjersti Scheen, Jasper Fforde, Malcolm Pryce, Liz Evans, Gianrico Carofiglio, Stuart Pawson, Peter Guttridge, Ann Cleeves and Val McDermid. After each panel, he sent his humans to the temporary Ottakars bookshop to buy books and have them signed by the authors.
