Mr Monkey went along to the quay. Ammunition for the 12 pounders and other guns on the east of the island was unloaded from boats with the crane on the quay, and moved up to the batteries on a light railway. Mr Monkey went around the corner to see if he could find the start of the railway, but all he really found was another searchlight post and a rather bashed about pillbox.
