Mr Monkey went up into the bell tower. He found that, after the church had stopped being a church, someone had turned the tower into a dovecot by filling it with tiny nesting boxes. There was a very steep and rather dodgy looking stairway up to the roof, and Mr Monkey's humans went up it very carefully.
