Mr Monkey visits Stirling Castle

"It all looks very complicated, you know"

Mr Monkey looking back at the castle from the Nether Bailey Mr Monkey looking at the tapestry in progress

Mr Monkey scampered past the four Powder Magazines, built outside the castle in case they exploded. Three are from 1810, the fourth from 1860. Mr Monkey visited the temporary tapestry studio, where tapestries are being made. These will decorate the Palace when its restoration has been completed, but as each one is finished its put on temporary display in the Chapel Royal.
