Mr Monkey was rather annoyed to find out that the Palace was being repaired, and that all he could see of it was a passage and some small rooms under the Palace. This seemed a bit of a shame, as he'd been seeing the Palace from a distance ever since arriving. Mr Monkey trotted off to the Great Kitchens, built to serve the Great Hall. They've been arranged to look as they did in the sixteenth century, though Mr Monkey didn't find anything to eat.
