Mr Monkey's Dockland Walk

"Let's go and see what they've got now"

Mr Monkey went along another riverside walkway, and paused to watch the river traffic for a while. Then he went back to Wapping High Street and a pub called The Prospect of Whitby. This used to to be called The Devil's Tavern, but was named after a ship from Whitby that was moored nearby when the pub was repaired after being on fire for a bit. They used to have bare knuckle fighting, cock fighting, and live sketching of the Thames by Turner and Whistler here.
