Going past Hermitage Wharf, Mr Monkey was impressed by the new development. Though it looks like it's all glass, there's a lot of brick in there too, and the roofing is made of copper. Mr Monkey was careful not to look at all criminal as he passed Wapping Police Station, which has been home to the Marine Police since 1789 (though they changed their name to the Marine Support Unit at some point).
You can read about the bricks used in the Hermitage Wharf developments at the Architects' Journal website and about the Marine Support Unit at the Metropolitan Police website.
