Mr Monkey carried on down Broadway, until he got to Bowling Green park, which is notable for the charging bull statue. In 1989 the sculptor, Arturo di Modica, left the statue outside the New York Stock Exchange. As you need permission to leave 7000 pound lumps of metal in the street, and he hadn't, the police took it away. The statue was so popular that they had to bring it back, only somewhere where it was less in the way.
