Mr Monkey peered up at the TV tower that looms above the observation deck. Before it became a TV tower, it was a radio mast, but it was originally going to be a mooring mast for airships. Al Smith had the interesting idea that he'd be able to park an airship next to the building, and passengers would walk along a narrow bridge to the 101st floor. The only thing that spoilt this plan was the air turbulence at 1350 feet.
