Mr Monkey started to follow the Gates, until he found out that there were 7500 or so of them, covering 23 miles of path in the park. He decided that it wasn't really necessary to look at them all, and went to look at the Balto statue instead. Balto was the lead dog of the team that saved Nome, Alaska, from a diptheria epidemic with serum from Anchorage and inadvertently invented the Iditarod Trail race.
