The basic idea of the exhibition is that all the towns on the M62 are going to merge into one big city, and the architect Will Alsop has filled Urbis with models of buildings that could be built as part of this SuperCity, but probably won't. Downstairs is Square. At first Mr Rik mistook the green path for the M62, but Mr Monkey read the descriptive panel and explained that Square is some kind of housing project with lots of people living underneath a vast selection of playing fields, golf courses, and green fields.
