Mr Monkey's friends at Urbis wanted him to be one of 40 people to take pictures of Manchester with a Lomo Colorsplash camera. The camera arrived early in the morning when everyone, even Mr Monkey, was asleep, so Mr Rik had to go to the sorting office in Stockport in the afternoon. There was a certain amount of difficulty because Mr Rik's name isn't Mr Monkey, but they let him have the parcel anyway. When he got home, Mr Monkey quickly opened the parcel, got the camera out, loaded a film, and read the instructions.
