Mr Monkey in Toronto, October 13

"This is an interesting building"

After getting back to the city from Ward's Island, Mr Monkey took a taxi to the Flatiron building. This was built as the offices of the Gooderham and Worts distilling company, so it's really the Gooderham building, but it's shaped a bit like an iron so it's called the flatiron. The sheet on the wide end was painted on to make the whole thing look more interesting after the adjacent building was demolished.
