Eventually, Mr Monkey got right to the edge of the Horseshoe Falls, where he could see how clear the tumbling water was. He was struck by the the beauty of the different colours in the water, which looked like molten glass. He was also impressed by the thought that 600,000 gallons of water go over the fall every second.
