As the point of the whole London trip was to go the the National Gallery (which is the big building at the back), a visit to Trafalgar Square was always likely. Due to the level of demand for the Vermeer exhibition, Mr Monkey couldn't get tickets until 7pm, and wasn't let in until 9pm. Unfortunately Nelson's Column was too big to fit into a photo
