There are various historical people wandering around the Tower, retelling the histories of some othe people who've lived (or died) there. On the lawn outside the White Tower, Mr Monkey found two men, dressed as if they were in 1706. They had swords, and they knew how to use them. The Sergeant, in the red coat, had a fencing master who had fought numerous duels and battles. Lord Hugh, in the brown coat, studied under a fencing master who relied on theory and never fought a real duel. Lord Hugh lost, which didn't come as much of a surprise.
