Mr Monkey decided he'd like to travel on the Cliff Railway to the top of Constitution Hill. Unfortunately, when he got to the bottom of the railway, he found that it wasn't running, as they were waiting for parts to repair it. Mr Rik and Miss Carol were unhappy to hear this, because they realised Mr Monkey would expect them to walk up the hill instead.
