Mr Monkey carried on exploring the History Gallery. Amongst things such as artillerymen's hats, models of the Siege of Gibraltar, and Swedish leather guns*, he found a brass ship's cannon made by someone called Wrightman, and, further on, an early Gatling gun on an artillery carriage.
* Disappointingly, these turned out just to be guns wrapped in leather, not actually made of leather.
