Opposite the Guards Museum is the Guards Chapel. This was built to replace a chapel destroyed by a V1 doodlebug in 1944; it's a lot more impressive inside than it is outside. Mr Monkey was impressed by the stained glass, the decoration around the altar, and the feeling of peace in the chapel.
