"Mmm... that doesn't seem to be much money to me"

Mr Monkey outside Lloyds bank Mr Monkey examining his Victorian money

The first place Mr Monkey visited was Lloyds Bank, where he made Mr Rik change some 21st century money into year 1900 money suitable for the Blists Hill shops. The exchange rate was a bit scary - £10 only got 2 shillings and a penny. The coins don't have the Queen's head on them, because that would be forgery.
