Mr Monkey by the Thames

"It's a bit smaller than the Belfast, you know"

As it got darker, Mr Monkey paid a quick visit to the Golden Hinde. This is a replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship, which has been locked into St Mary Overie dock as a living history museum. Mr Monkey was impressed by the bright painting outside the ship, and Mr Rik was impressed by how low the ceilings were inside ship.

You can read about the ship at the Golden Hinde website.
