After eating a banana at Bewley's on Grafton Street, Mr Monkey went shopping at Murder Ink, the crime book store, and then made Mr Rik carry his new books. He decided to visit the Irish Parliament, but the gates closed just he got there. And the Taoiseach had probably gone home, anyway.
