Sir Walter filled Abbotsford with all sorts of things, which Mr Monkey enjoyed studying. There were two suits of armour, and a model of Robert the Bruce's skull, and some other things, in the entrance hall. In the library there were 9000 books and lots of odd things, like a bit of Bonnie Prince Charlie's hair, and Robert Burns's tumbler.
