Mr Monkey crossed the Tyne by ferry at South Shields, then got on the Metro to go to Newcastle. He was a little surprised when Mr Rik and Miss Carol made him get off at Howden, but was pleased to find that there was a foot tunnel under the Tyne that no-one had told him about.
