Mr Monkey walks the Rochdale Canal through Manchester

Trip date : 4th May, 2011
"That looks a bit too much like hard work for a monkey"

Mr Monkey looking up at No. 74 Princess Street Mr Monkey watching a narrowboat in Lock 87

Mr Monkey clambered onto the bridge, and looked up at No. 74 Princess Street, which was built in 1880 by Corson & Aitken. Now the Atrium by Bridgestreet Apartments, No. 74 was the only warehouse in Manchester built in the Scottish Baronial style. Then he noticed that there was a narrowboat in the lock, so he stopped a while to watch the boat descending and the gates being opened.
