Mr Monkey trotted along the promenade towards his hotel. The weather had got better and slightly warmer, and he studied the clouds out at sea. He couldn't help noticing that someone had scraped most of the promenade surface away. He suspected improvements were underway. Soon Mr Monkey was in his seventh floor room, looking out at Blackpool.
