Upstairs Mr Monkey saw displays about the cultivation of the modern potato. He was surprised to find that Belgium's annual production of potatoes was 3 million tons, and that an average Belgian eats 300kg of potatoes each year. Mr Monkey examined a vast collection of the different devices people have used to cut potatoes into the right shape, and to turn them into fries afterwards.
