Mr Monkey in Bristol, 14th May

"Well, it looks like a Vermeer to me, apart from being real"

Thursday
After breakfast Mr Monkey scampered down to the harbour, intent on visiting St Mary's Church in Redcliffe. He paused on the Prince Street Bridge to admire the view, which reminded him rather of one of Vermeer's paintings of Delft. At the base of the Redcliffe cliffs he found an entrance to the Redcliffe caves. Mr Monkey chose not to go in, because the gate was locked and all he could see inside were dire warnings.
