Mr Monkey in Bath, 13th May

"You get a better sense of space without people whirling around"

Mr Monkey visited the Tea Room and the Ball Room. Up to 1000 people would turn up to use the Ball Room at least twice a week, and there would be an interval during which tea was served from behind the doors under the colonnade in the Tea Room. Mr Monkey admired the chandeliers, which originally used candles, and decided he preferred the rooms without lots of people dancing.
