Later in the day Mr Monkey scampered along Miles's Buildings (which is a street, as well as being a row of houses built by John Wood the Younger in the late 1760s), up some steps into St Andrew's Terrace, and was soon outside the Upper Assembly Rooms. When he'd visited Bath in 2008 he'd arrived at the Assembly Rooms too late to be allowed in - he hadn't made that mistake this time.
