After he showed his ticket at the door and went in Mr Monkey was offered a Manhattan cocktail. He waited downstairs while his humans drank the mix of bourbon, vermouth and bitters (with a cherry lurking at the bottom), then took the lift up to level 2. Here he learnt that the exhibition was the first of a series exploring contemporary art from cities around the world, which sounded interesting to Mr Monkey.
