Atop the Mount Mr Monkey looked down on the Marine Hall, part of an entertainment complex including boating lakes, gardens, a golf course and a bowling green built in the 1920s and 1930s. Away from the sea Mr Monkey saw London Street heading into Fleetwood. He trotted off the Mount and along London Street until he got to Lord Street, where there was a bus waiting to take him to Blackpool.
