Mr Monkey in London, 11th February

"It's a rather large sundial, you know"

Mr Monkey in the ginnel leading out of Greenwich market Mr Monkey looking at the Millennium sundial

Mr Monkey scampered through the market, and scurried through a ginnel and an archway to get back onto the main street. He stopped for a moment to examine the sundial put up to commemorate the Millennium and to gaze at the church of St. Alfege. Designed by Nicholas Hawkwood, this is the the third church on the site where Alfege, archbishop of Canterbury, was murdered by Vikings.

You can read about the church at the St. Alfege Church website.
