Mr Monkey caught a tube from South Kensington, getting off at Westminster instead of Tower Hill because of signalling problems. Scampering along the Thames Path he found a flagpole that had been sent to London from British Columbia for the 1951 Festival of Britain, taken down and put back up in 1977 for the Silver Jubilee.
