After leaving his humans' luggage at the station, Mr Monkey scampered through the streets of Newcastle. Scurrying towards the Grey Monument he noticed that there were a lot of Christmas lights strung across the streets, though they hadn't been switched on. He scampered past and went into the Laing gallery. After a snack in the cafe, Mr Monkey spent several hours looking around the galleries.
