Mr Monkey was a little alarmed when the cable cars stopped halfway across the river, but then he realised it was a sightseeing opportunity*. He used the opportunity to look along the gorge towards Matlock and at a lot of sky. Then the cable car started again and Mr Monkey found out that there was a tower to visit at the Heights.
* Not unconnected, Mr Monkey suspects, to a need to stop the cars to let people on and off at the ends of the line.
