Mr Monkey found that Emory used the same bold style to illustrate the Black Panther's snappier slogans, such as "REVOLUTION IN OUR LIFETIME" and "ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE". Like much of Emory's work, these images were used as posters on the streets or in people's homes (you could buy some of the black and white posters for a dollar each) and also appeared on the back page of the Black Panther Newspaper.
