Monday
Mr Monkey arrived in London at Waterloo, but didn't venture out onto the streets of the capital until he'd taken the underground to Euston and left his human's luggage there. Outside the station he looked at the memorial to the employees of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway who died in the two world wars, found out that the galleries at the Wellcome Trust museum are all closed on Mondays, and went to the National Army Museum instead. He examined a Land Rover, used as a snatch vehicle by the Army, that had been left outside the museum as part of the Helmand : The Soldiers' Story exhibition. He'd have taken pictures inside the museum if he'd been allowed to.
You can read about the exhibition at the National Army Museum website.
