Mr Monkey in Prague, 11th June

"It's an odd thing to have in your garden"

Mr Monkey looking down on the gardens of the Wallenstein Palace Mr Monkey looking down on Prague from the walls beneath the castle

Outside the castle Mr Monkey found a parapet and peered over it to see Prague. He couldn't help noticing the rather strange looking artificial grotto in the garden of Valdštejnský palá (Wallenstein Palace). The palace was built between 1624 and 1630 for Albrecht von Waldstein, the commander of Imperial forces in the Thirty Years War.
