Mr Monkey trotted out of the Vladislav Hall onto the balcony outside. He admired the Ludvik Wing of the Palace which was closed for restoration. If he'd been allowed in, Mr Monkey would probably been able to see the windows that the Catholic councillors were thrown through in 1618. This led to the revolt of the Czech states and started the Thirty Years War. Mr Monkey looked down on Prague, and identified the British Embassy by its flag.
